UNIT 202: Principles of Fibre optic Cabling Level 2

DURATION: 5 days

This training course provides delegates to experience both practical and theoretical skills. The course looks at basic installation practices, fibre optic connectorisation, splicing fibre, external enclosures and test requirements and on completion, delegates will be able to apply the skills gained to real life situations involving cabling systems.

The course focuses on the components, equipment and working practices that are used for premise cabling and fibre optic cabling deployed in an external telecoms environment. Candidates are assessed by a timed examination.
