Table of content
Customer
The client is a large multinational company that owns a range of prestigious beverage brands. Their overall headquarters are in London
Problem
The client wished to reduce their combined footprint across London, which spanned over multiple sites. The challenge was to relocate and consolidate the London-based employees to a single location and undertake a complete renovation whilst keeping in line with the company’s ambition to become one of the most inclusive employers in the world.
Solution
A main contractor was employed by the client, and relevant consultants designed and built the space as required. Comms Centre were part of the tender process supporting all integrators with the compliant technology designed by the client’s design team. Comms Centre’s offerings included:
- Copper horizontal Cabling
- Fibre backbone cabling
- Network and server cabinets
- Power distribution units
- Cold aisle containment solution for the MER environment
- Comms Centre were involved throughout the tender stage and construction phase with responsibilities for technical submittal, product compliance, programme management, logistic management, and costings.
Outcome
The project was delivered on time and in budget to meet the agreed programme. One MER and two SERs were successfully deployed across four floors. Around thirty network and server cabinets were deployed along with six-thousand copper data cables. Diverse fibre backbone routes were deployed.
The project was a success, with the client moving into its new premises on time and to specification. It was a great project to be part of and our relationship with the integrator has developed as a result of this.
